1. Bayberry Hollow
Bayberry Hollow is a beautiful home and gift shop and licensed cafe located in the small village of Tanfield, a short 15 Minute drive from our Luxury glamping site! Relax in their rustic cafe and bistro and take some time to enjoy delicious, home cooked food, baked and prepared daily using the very best locally sourced ingredients. Bayberry Hollow is the perfect place to visit for a cuppa or even treat yourself to one of their famous afternoon teas!

2. The Crown and Crossed Swords
The Crown and Crossed Swords is our local pub located in the village of Shotley Bridge. It is a short 10 minute walk from our site. Whether you fancy just a drink or some pub grub, the Crown and Crossed swords is the place to go! They also have a wonderful beer garden around the back where you can catch the sun whilst enjoying your favourite tipple!

3. Sale Pepes
Sale Pepes is our local Italians located in the village of Shotley Bridge (10 minute walk from our site). They are proud to serve fresh and homemade food using the finest of ingredients. They also have a large bar area where you can enjoy a drink before or after your meal.

4. The Old Courthouse Bar and Kitchen
The Old Courthouse Kitchen and Bar is located in Consett, County Durham, a short 5 minute drive away. As the name suggests the building was originally the old courthouse in the town and is now a beautiful bar and restaurant which has maintained many of its original features. They aim to provide a relaxed environment where people can come to enjoy local and international beers and wines as well as delicious cocktails and healthy food!

5. The Anchor Inn
The Anchor Inn is located in Whittonstall, a short 7 minute drive away from our site. Originally built as a Coach House in the 1700's it has been renovated to incorporate today's modern amenities whilst maintaining its original characteristics and charm. This quirky pub offers delicious home cooked pub grub which can be enjoyed in the comfort of your own luxury glamping pod as they offer a takeaway service as well as a dine in experience.

6. The Old Mill, Knitsley
The Old Mill is a converted Mill House set in the peaceful countryside, nestled in its own valley, tucked away in 100 acres of beautiful County Durham countryside between Consett and Lanchester, a short 9 minute drive from our site. The Old Mill boasts a beautiful restaurant serving fresh, homemade dishes with locally sourced ingredients seven days a week. Enjoy a drink outside by the stream and let yourself unwind as the water ambles under the bridge whilst you watch the resident family of ducks in the stream.

7. Cafe at Inn on the Park
Cafe at Inn on the Park is located at Allensford Country Park, a 14-acre country park along the River Derwent offering picnic areas and walking paths, a short 30 minute walk along the River Derwent or a five minute drive from our site. This cafe is a perfect pit stop on your walk for a cuppa or a bite to eat. They are a licensed cafe offering a selection of foods ranging from breakfasts to Sunday dinners and many more!
